Chapter 1

Who God is – Nature of God

If God is to be the First Cause, then He cannot be a person known from medieval paintings in the form of an older man with the appearance of Zeus. The time has passed for God to be placed on the golden throne above the clouds, who reigns among the angels who play him with trumpets. After this medieval vision, the views that placed Him somewhere in space also failed. Therefore, He cannot be a lost person in the universe, somewhere among the stars and galaxies.

If God exists, then He must be the absolute greatest of all that we can imagine, that is, absolutely unlimited in His existence. Of course, He must be powerful enough to allow the remaining power at his disposal to shape the universe.

Neither the space-time of the universe, nor any other structure, even as big as the universe, can limit Him! His direct presence concerns the state beyond time and space, and the intermediate - the spacetime of the universe.

Apart from time and space, I call the realm a sphere or reality, because I cannot call it a "place".

Having made these reservations, I present below the basic assumptions of this study.

Let me begin by saying that if God exists, He must be the Creator of All Things. Therefore, the universe should be the result of His activity.

God, as the perfect Causal Being, must be eternal and unchanging, and must exist independently of any limitations. At the same time, His Primary Energy, or the above-mentioned power, and His Laws and Principles are the source of the universe's existence with the changes occurring in it.

The Personality of God determines His attributes, such as the Absolute, Perfection and Eternity. If the universe is the work of the Original Being, then His Personality should be reflected in the form of natural laws and principles present in the universe. They can testify to the existence of the basic qualities of the Original Being, that is, His Intellect, Will and Affection. These qualities form the Personality Center equated with the concept of the Spirit of God. This name has a religious character, therefore the notion of the Original Being is more appropriate for this study. Both of these names lead to the statement that God is The Person.

Hence the concluding statement that God is the First Cause existing beyond time and space, which is indirectly illustrated by the following scheme used on many websites.
